Diwali in Brent/ at home
The many angles and skys over the Hindu temple, right by where I grew up over the diwali period.

(second last image) Backstage. I stumbled across the elephant statues- a few days after diwali- at the old Hindu school opposite the temple.
(last image) The bus heading to the temple packed with families that declared “Shubh Diwali” and with the kid pulling silly faces at the back π
Research, inspirations & next stepsπ
Spending time researching in the british library has been fantastic. A chance to sit and start doing what I’ve always loved. From food to culture, art, music, history, poetry, creative writing, magical realism and cities.

Meshell Ndegeocello at KOKO
Meshell Ndegeocello’s amazing performance, perfectly combined with Justin. I enjoyed the crowd and adored that guy from Somerset who felt the music the most π
